This year the big things seems to be digital picture frames. Instead of having to go through a picture book the digital picture frame displays pictures in a rotating pattern. But what all of use frugal moms want to know is what is the best digital picture frame for your frugal spending habit.
When digital picture freams first came out in 2000 they required an internet connection to be able to down load the pictures every night. You would upload the digital photos to a website and then you would have to download them back to the picture frame. Then your friens or family could upload pictures onto the website and they too could add their pictures to your frame.
Some things you might want to think about when you decide to buy a digital frame:
WI-Fi. If the person you are purchasing the frame for is not wi-fi knowledgable you may want to say away from these frames
Make sure that that camera or memory card that you have will fit into the digital frame. They also make adapters if you find a frame you love but it will not work with your memory card.
Consider the type of playback that you want. Some frames have the ablitlty to play music or even do videos. This is fairly new so you might want to stay away from these frames to start with.
Why should you have a small frame if you can’t see the pictures. The less expensive frames are normallly cheaper but they work just as well. It all depends on how far away you want to be from the picture and still want to be able to see it.
You will pay more for a good frame. You will probley pay at least $100.00 for a good frame. If you find them for less they may not be a good quality.
Check for internal Memory. The better frames will have a internal memory , some as much as 256 megabytes.
You may want to wait until after Christmas to purchase because right now they really do market the digital picture frame.
Here are a few frames I suggest.
