I could not agree more. I much prefer it when people ask, rather than just stare. I have this paranoia that the people who don&#039;t ask assume that I did something wrong to cause this. (It&#039;s probably just my paranoia, but I can&#039;t help it.)

My favorite story is my nephew. He was 7 when he first met my little one and he noticed right away. He looked at me and said &quot;Aunt Jac, I didn&#039;t know she was missing her fingers. But that&#039;s ok, wanna know why?&quot; Then he sat down and took of his shoe an socks and proudly showed his webbed toes to my six week old baby. He was so proud that they had something in common.</description>
